Welcome to the new and improved MilkWeb. The site should now be easier
to use and navigate and give you everything you could possibly want within
a few clicks.
Milk's
first gig was way back in March 1997. Before this, Nick Duckett, Nick Henderson
and Greg Macoy had been in various bands together during school, and with
the addition of the excellent Sam Walkerdine on drums Milk finally
got their act together. |

After a few
months apart Milk regrouped to perform at Shenanigan's, a small irish
pub in Liverpool. From then on it has been Milk all the way from
gigs at The Hub and Guinan's, to stella perfomances at The Cavern and The
Lomax. |
Milk
recorded their first EP, "Milk" in April 1999 and knew they had
something special. This EP generated a certain amount of industry interest
which gave confidence to the Liverpool four-some. In January 2000 Milk
recorded the Bianco Rosso EP and more recently their first single "The
New Record" which is the first recording of material which will make
up Milk's first full length album which is destined to be recorded
in the summer of 2001. |
|
In September
2000 Milk took a chance and relocated to Manchester where they live
together and play at venues like The Night & Day Cafe and The Roadhouse.
But don't fret, Milk are still very much a Liverpool band and still
play regularly on Merseyside. |
September
also saw the launch of
MilkRecords.co.uk which was set-up to release new Milk
material and to promote a few Liverpool bands; Fat Firemen, PushBar and
Divide. |
