Summer 2000

The Basement at O' Neill's, Friday June 23rd - not sure who we're playing with yet, but no doubt it will be another quality Liverpool band!

Stamps, Crosby, BBC Music Live Songwriter's Day, Saturday May 27th with a load of other bands. It went well considering Hendy was still in Newcastle due to exams and Duckett wasn't even in Liverpool until an hour before the performance. So again we had to try and keep it together as best we could! It turned out alright, we saw Murmur (or whatever they're called nowadays) around the corner  - Sam & I even helped out with occasional tambourine playing & backing vocals! There was a promo shot for one of local newspapers which was funny and we saw a young band do a cover 'Baby, one more time'. A few of us went to Shenanigan's later on, got quite drunk and ended up in the L2

easter 2000

The NEW Lomax, Thursday April 20th supporting Angelica [a proper band!]
HFHS Charity Gig, Thursday April 13th

christmas 1999/2000

The Lomax, Friday 14th January. The best gig EVER! this was definitely the best gig of all time. We played with Divide, Prove and Revolution - thanks again to Divide for lending us all their stuff [again!]

The Basement - O' Neill's, Friday 7th January. The band so good they played us twice [well almost] we got asked back. Again another amazing gig a surprising lack of stupid problems. We played with the Shit Hot Warriors [although not literally of course] and Ornament who were alright but stuck way too far up their own arses! - they turned with very little equipment and hadn't arranged with anyone to borrow stuff, so they were very lucky. But the 'Shit Hots...' were good you should check them out if you can, and I'm not biased in anyway what so ever! - thanks for lending us stuff!

The Basement - O' Neill's, Wednesday 22nd December. The homecoming gig for christmas - Fantastic! an amazing return very few problems. Dog Flambe were really good, you should check out the website of these punksters here

summer 1999

The Cavern, Saturday 4th September. Another double gig day, this time at the same place. We headlined the event, The Steve Siren Street Band were there (they played at the Lomax in the Beatles Festival as well). Again our second set was better. They'd just got a load of new equipment and were still getting to grips with it!

Stamps, (Music Festival) Monday 30th August. Yep, that's right 2 gigs in one day. We played better at this one! there was a good turn out, my family came up all the way from Wales to see us.

The Lomax, (Beatles Festival) Monday 30th August. Nick H & Nick D back (just!) We overcame quite a few obstacles to play at this show and Ben the salesman went round with CDs. Several sales & autographs later we jetted off to Stamps.

Stamps, Crosby, Tuesday 10th August. Sam & I (with a little help from a few kazoos & Cath H) did a showcase at the songwriters night.

Shenanigan's, Moorfields, Saturday 24th July. Sam & I helping Connor out by providing entertainment for a stag night w/ Melt and Rob Matoza (& Richard!). Got doubled-booked & double-crossed by Shenanigan's, we all went to the nearest pub and played there for a few drinks instead NOT AMUSED!.

The Hub, Liverpool, Friday 23rd July. Sam & I spoiling MELT's little soiree. Just 2 songs I'm afraid; My Lost Youth (The first to feature Sam on lead vocals!) and It's About Time.

Stamps, Crosby, Sunday 11th July. Dwindling down to 2, Nick D and I are playing a couple of songs w/out Nick H (Israel) & Sam (Oz).

The Hub, Liverpool, Wednesday 30th June (w/ support from MELT). 2nd Acoustic-ish gig featuring the keyboard, but lacking in Sam.

O' Neill's, Liverpool, Tuesday 22nd June. Acoustic-ish gig, the first to feature our little baby keyboard, also lacking the Oz-ward bound Sam.
